an organisation tackling long-term empty homes
London has over 300,000 empty homes, and yet thousands of people still sleep rough. Instead of bringing these empty homes into use, the government prioritises building even more luxury properties for overseas investors who won’t even live in them. We’re building homes for ghosts before putting roofs over people’s heads.

this ghost registry draws on real property ownership data, including investigations by private eye, which revealed that large parts of prime london real estate are owned through offshore companies/investors.
the map reframes these investor-owned empty homes as “haunted” properties, documenting when each house became haunted, where its ghost currently resides, and how much was paid to possess it.
